SPRINT Innovation Festival

Background
Sprint Innovation Festival is a grand annual event, which brings together 15 different challenge providers –ranging from large corporations to NGOs– and over 500 students from Tampere Universities, and now ECIU as well.

Our challenge
This year there will be 5 different challenges conducted in English, the challenge providers and their industry are as follow:

  • Patria - defence, security and aviation 
  • POK - food industry
  • Fortum - electricity industry 
  • UN - human rights, development and security
  • Platform of Trust - Data and information

Expected impact and target groups
You will learn more about the challenges once they are published and you will have a chance to select the three challenges that appeal to you the most, based on the challenge you are selected to, you will learn more about the impact of your project as well as the target groups. Keep in mind that you will have the chance to present your final solution to a group of key representatives from the challenge providing institution.

Expectations from students
The event will take place fully online November 15th-19th. You are expected to be fully available every day during the entire week approx. 9-17 hrs (GMT+2)

PLEASE BE AWARE, THAT IN ADDITION TO APPLYING TO THE CHALLENGE THROUGH THIS WEBSITE, WE ASK TO YOU REGISTER DIRECTLY TO SPRINT AS WELL. This in order to keep track of all students, as we expect over 500 participants.
