MODULE DESCRIPTION

The module deals with main methods for assessing structural safety with a focus on probabilistic approaches.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

After the micro-module the learner can conduct a functional analysis on a civil engineering structural system, express failure functions from components to system, examine random input and output and conduct reliability analysis through various methods.
