MODULE DESCRIPTION

The knowledge on systemic view of productivity management in connection with manufacturing technologies and organization processes is acquired. Students get acquainted with methodology of productivity measurement, analysis and planning. Students are able to apply modern productivity improvement methods and techniques. After completion of the course, students gain knowledge necessary for research and empirical works in productivity management field.

To be able to define the importance of productivity management in modern organization;

To describe the system of input, output and processes in organization;

To explain the concept of productivity cycle;

To analyse the system of productivity indices;

To be able to use the methods of productivity analysis and measurement;

To be able to apply modern methods and tools for productivity improvement.
