The course introduces the management and political organisation of urban and regional planning from a European perspective
LEARNING OUTCOMES
On completion of the course, the student should be able to:
- describe and explain the role of urban and regional planning in public administration
- describe and relate governance theory to strategic urban and regional planning
- compare political processes and governance structures within Europe
- problematise and discuss the relationship between politics, administration and
- urban and regional planning based on relevant social science theories
