MODULE DESCRIPTION
The course aims to recognise the most important issues which affect the future transport system and their implications.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
On completion of this course the student
- recognises the concept of transport transformation and the related key concepts, has understanding of the issues relevant for transport transformation and has developed skills in discussing transport transformation in English
- recognises theories and frameworks related to transformation and transformation processes
- recognises the operational environment, the role of transport policy at international, national and local level, and the key actions for transformation in passenger and freight transport
- recognises the skills needed in working in a multicultural setting and is able to communicate, contribute and co-operate effectively as a member of an multicultural group
- is able to analyse the changes in the operational environment and the development outlook of transport and to analyse alternative scenarios and possible roadmaps for transport transformation
- can implement methods of environmental scanning to present future outlook of transport
