Klaasjan Visscher is a lecturer, researcher and educational innovator who works at the intersection of technology, organization and society. He studied ‘Industrial Engineering & Management’ and ‘Philosophy of Science, Technology & Society’ and obtained his Ph.D. at the University of Twente in 2001. His current research and teaching focuses on innovation ecosystems, transdisciplinary learning, the societal embedding of emerging technologies, and long-term innovation and transformation processes in organizations and society. He has contributed to various nationally and internationally funded research and educational innovation projects and his work has been published in academic journals and books.
Challenges of Klaasjan
The Transdisciplinary Master-Insert is full-time, six-month program, taking place on campus in the vibrant environment of the DesignLab at the University of Twente. In this advanced and intensive program, students from different disciplinary backgrounds work with stakeholders from government, industry and society on tackling complex challenges.
