The European insect industry is on the rise and France is a key player in its development. Agronutris has chosen to breed the black soldier fly, a competitive and promising insect that can valorize a wide range of agro-industrial by-products while having a quite short growth cycle. The challenge will consist in improving its environmental impact.

For a more sustainable INSA’s restaurant

In order to develop a sustainable INSA Campus, three work groups have been created to tackle environmental campus related issues.

One of these groups is dedicated to reducing the food greenhouse emission impact. For one year we have modified our student restaurant service chain by introducing for each food line vegetable menu options to reduce our greenhouse impact.

For a more sustainable INSA’s campus

In order to develop a sustainable INSA Campus, three working groups have been created to take care of environmental issues on the campus. One of these group is dedicated to reduce the environmental impact of our buildings. Some of our buildings are old and without any possibility to be renovated but the others are relatively new with high insolation and modern control equipment.
